Ambati Rayudu has been reported for a suspect bowling action after the first ODI against Australia at the SCG.According to a ICC press release, match officials’ report was handed to the Indian team management which cited concerns about the legality of the 33-year-old’s bowling action. His bowling action will be scrutinized further under the ICC process relating to suspected bowling actions reported in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.

He is required to undergo testing within 14 days, and, during this period, Rayudu is permitted to continue bowling in international cricket until the results of the testing are known.

Rayudu bowled two overs and conceded 13 runs against Australia in Sydney.

India play second ODI of the series on Tuesday at the Adelaide Oval.
